Cathie Wood, the founder and CEO of ARK Invest, is supporting the Invest America Accounts, also known as Trump Accounts, saying this would enhance children’s lives and help them benefit from the future technology revolution.
In a Thursday post on X, Wood encouraged parents and grandparents of Americans to look into the Trump Accounts for children under 18 years to “catch and ride the financial wave of this technology revolution.”

Trump Accounts Official Launch On July 4
The official Trump Accounts app is now available for download on all major platforms, with the full rollout coming in the weeks ahead for everyone eligible who completes IRS Form 4547.
These were created under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and are structured as tax-deferred investment vehicles for minors. The investment activity and the government’s $1,000 seed deposits for kids born between Jan. 1, 2025 and Dec. 31, 2028, are scheduled to begin on July 4, which marks the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said nearly 6 million children have already signed up for the program.
Vlad Tenev, the CEO of Robinhood Markets (NASDAQ:HOOD), said, “The app is simple, intuitive, and educational, and was designed under the direction of the US Treasury in close partnership with National Design Studio, RobinhoodApp and BNY (NYSE:BK).”

Program Promises American Dream
Wood appreciated Altimeter Capital founder Brad Gerstner for his leadership role in driving the concept.
Gerstner touted the program as “the American Dream,” citing that “America was born on the promise that our kids will have a better tomorrow.”
He urged us to dedicate this Independence Day to renewing our commitments with a new, better future for our children. He said, “We re-dedicate ourselves to this promise – a new birthright – where EVERY child begins life as a direct shareholder in the upside of America!”
Benzinga Edge Stock Rankings indicate that HOOD maintains a strong short-term price trend, with a solid Growth score in the 92nd percentile.
